At BloomSutra, every saree is more than fabric — it’s a prayer in thread, crafted with love and intention. While we hope every Bloom piece feels like it was meant for you, we also understand that sometimes things may not align. Whether the saree didn’t feel right, or you’ve simply had a change of heart, we are here to support you with a clear, fair, and transparent policy.
Returns & Eligibility
If you’d like to return your Bloom, we request you to kindly follow the steps below so we can serve you with fairness and transparency.
Eligibility
- Returns must be initiated within 48 hours of delivery.
- Once approved, the saree must be shipped back within 3 days of return confirmation.
- Returns requested or shipped beyond this window will not be accepted.
To qualify for a return:
- The saree must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.
- The saree must be returned in its original packaging with all tags intact.
- The original invoice/receipt must be included in the return package.
- Free Gifts with purchase if any must also be returned in their original, unused condition and packaging. If not returned, the value of the gift will be
deducted from your refund. - Exchanges: BloomSutra does not offer exchanges. If a saree doesn’t feel right, you can opt for a return.
- Offline Purchases: Any sarees purchased offline (exhibitions, stalls, private orders etc) are non-returnable. Returns and Bloom Credit apply only to online orders placed on bloomsutra.com.
Non-Returnable Items
To preserve the integrity of our craft, we cannot accept returns for:
- Sarees purchased during Clearance sale events.
- Sarees with pico, fall, tassels or other finishing/customization.
- Sarees that show signs of being worn, washed, or altered.
Return Process
Step 1 – Inform
Write to us at hello@bloomsutra.com within 48 hours of receiving your order with the following details:
- Order Number
- Full Name
- Contact Number
- Product Details
- Reason for Return (choose one or
describe in your own words):
- Didn’t feel like the right fit for me
- Color/print looks different than expected
- I’ve had a change of mind
- Other (please specify)
Step 2 – Approval
- Once we receive your request, our team will review it and may connect with you for clarifications if needed.
- Once return request is approved, you’ll receive a return confirmation within 24–48 hours.
Step 3 – Ship Back
After approval, please ship the saree back to us within 3 days of return approval confirmation.
- Ensure the saree and Free/Complimentary gift if any are included in the package.
- Return shipping costs are to be borne by the customer.
- We recommend using a reliable courier and sharing tracking details with us once dispatched.
- BloomSutra will not be responsible for delays, loss, or damage during return transit.
- Once we receive your return, we’ll acknowledge receipt within 24–48 hours and conduct a quality check which may take upto 48hours.
- Once the returned saree passes our quality inspection, we will initiate the refund as per our Refund Method.
Refund Method
- All approved returns will be refunded as BloomCredit (store credit) in the form of a unique coupon code, valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
- BloomCredit will only be issued for orders where the full payment has been received by BloomSutra (prepaid or COD successfully paid).
BloomCredit is non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and valid only on bloomsutra.com.
BloomCredit amount will be calculated as: original order billing amount minus any deductions (e.g., damage, missing items, shipping, or other applicable
charges).
Redeeming Refund Coupon
- You will receive BloomCredit as a coupon code by email once your return has been approved and processed.
- BloomCredit can be used only once.
- BloomCredit can be applied across all products on bloomsutra.com, including new launches.
To redeem it:
- Add your chosen saree(s) to the cart.
- At checkout, enter your BloomCredit coupon code in the “Coupon Code” field.
- The applicable value will be adjusted in your order total.
- If your new order value is less than the BloomCredit amount, the balance will lapse.
- If your new order value is greater than the BloomCredit amount, the additional amount must be paid by the customer at checkout.
RTO (Return to Origin) of Prepaid Orders
If a prepaid order is returned to us due to unsuccessful delivery attempts, wrong address, or customer refusal, it will be treated as a return. In such cases:
- Refund process is initiated after deducting both forward and return shipping charges.
- Please ensure accurate address details and availability at the time of delivery to avoid RTO
- Repeat RTO cases may lead to BloomSutra holding or cancelling future prepaid orders at its discretion.
Returns on Orders Placed Using Refund Coupon
- Orders placed using BloomCredit are eligible for return.
- Any approved returns will be refunded back into BloomCredit.
- The validity of BloomCredit will remain tied to the original expiry date and will not reset upon reissue.
- This ensures you still have the full validity period of 1 year from the original issue date to find the Bloom piece that feels right for you.
Order Cancellations
At BloomSutra, every saree is prepared with care once your order is placed. For this reason, cancellations are possible only within the short window mentioned below.
Cancellation Window
- You may request a cancellation within 2 hours of placing your order by writing to us at hello@bloomsutra.com.
- Requests received after this window cannot be accommodated, as the order would already be in processing.
- Orders with customization, pico or alteration requests cannot be cancelled once placed.
- We encourage you to review your order carefully before placing it to avoid the need for cancellation.
- Repeated cancellations may impact your eligibility for future orders with BloomSutra
How to Cancel
To request a cancellation, please email us with the following details:
- Order Number
- Full Name
- Contact Number
- Reason for Cancellation
COD Orders
- All Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will be shipped only after customer confirmation.
- Orders that remain unconfirmed or are refused upon delivery may affect your eligibility for future COD purchases.
- BloomSutra reserves the right to accept, process, hold, or cancel any order at its sole discretion (including due to quality checks, stock unavailability, or other reasons).
- Customers will be duly notified in such cases.
Refund for Cancelled Orders
- All cancelled orders — whether prepaid, partial-prepaid (COD advances), or COD successfully paid — will be refunded strictly as per our Refund Policy. Refunds will be initiated within 3–5 business days of cancellation approval.
- COD orders cancelled within the 2-hour window will simply be voided (no charges apply).
Received a Damaged Product?
All our Bloom sarees undergo a thorough quality check prior to dispatch, so it is unlikely you’ll receive a damaged piece. However, in the rare event this happens, here’s what you need to do:
- At Delivery: If you notice damage to the package itself, you may kindly refuse to accept it. (For more, please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy.)
- Parcel Opening Video (Mandatory for Claims)
To raise a damage claim, you must share a clear parcel opening video that meets the following requirements: - The package must be shown in its entirety, in good lighting.
- Record in one continuous take, without pauses or edits.
- The video must clearly highlight the damaged area of the saree.

Shipping Costs for Damaged Returns:
- Once the damaged is verified and return is approved, we’ll arrange for a reverse pickup (where available) at no extra cost.
- We request you to keep the products ready for pickup, failure to do so will lead to cancellation of pickup and you will have to ship the product back to us by bearing the shipping charges.
- If reverse pickup is unavailable for your pincode, kindly ship the product back to us. We will reimburse the courier charges against a valid receipt once the
saree reaches us.
Resolution:
Once we receive and verify the returned product:
- Replacement: If the same saree is available, we’ll send it to you at no extra cost.
- If replacement is not available, you can choose either:
- Another saree of the same value from our store. Any excess in the value is to be paid by the customer. If a saree of lesser value is chosen then the customer can avail BloomCredit (store credit) for the differential amount.
- Bloom Credit (store credit) is valid for 1 year from date of issue
3. Important: No monetary refunds will be provided in damaged or replacement cases.
4. Claims without an unedited parcel-opening video will not be eligible for refund or replacement.
Important Note
BloomSutra’s liability for any approved return, cancellation, or damaged product claim shall not exceed the original purchase price of the saree. No further monetary, consequential, or incidental compensation will be offered.
